Senior Accountant | US – Hybrid

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

KGL is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to assist the VP of Finance in several financial functions. This is a hybrid position at our Glen Allen, VA office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist VP of Finance in Month-End closing process

  • Assist VP of Finance in annual budgeting process

  • Assist VP of Finance in monthly forecasting, sales projections, etc.

  • Assist in providing data for year-end audit

  • Prepares analysis of sales data

  • Reconcile intercompany accounts

  • Reconcile cash accounts

  • Oversee a complex billing process within 1-2 years

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years’ experience; ideally a mixture of smaller public and private

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA/CMA/MBA preferred but not required

  • Print, publishing, or related industry preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

  • General office environment with intensive computer work and extended use of the computer keyboard and mouse

  • This position requires the incumbent to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination

  • This position requires the incumbent to experience periods of prolonged sitting
