.NET Architect | India – Hybrid

Location: Mumbai, India (Hybrid)

Job Description 

  • Define, design, develop, and support the architecture of products by collaborating with technical and non-technical business stakeholders efficiently 

  • Collaborate with peer architects, systems engineering and product management, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders in the current product development process

  • Create and improve software using design patterns, refactoring, and development best practices

  • Balance autonomy with guidance by giving your team the tools, context, confidence, and motivation to make decisions effectively and independently

  • Lead and manage portions of KGL’s and its group companies’ engineering process-building applications to empower engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality products and code quickly.  

  • Act as a leader and technical architect for your team, help define technical vision and strategy, and ensure the technical direction of your team aligns with other teams across the company 

  • Participate in planning and provide detailed and accurate estimates for code development efforts

  • Prepare the architectural document artifacts

  • Execute the sprint plan to deliver as planned

  • Step up the game by working hands-on and executing core design pieces 

Skills Required 

  • Experience in managing a high-functioning, collaborative team of engineers that deliver scalable solutions and systems

  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework 4.5, and Unit Testing Frameworks

  • Experience with MS Windows Workflow Foundation

  • Experience using UML modeling and diagramming tools like Enterprise Architect and MS Visio

  • Experience in responsive User Interface Development for web desktop and mobile devices (knowledge of any front-end framework (Angular/React) is a plus)

  • Experience with Bootstrap and/or related CSS Frameworks

  • Experience in managing a high-functioning, collaborative team of engineers that deliver scalable solutions and systems

  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework 4.5, and Unit Testing Frameworks

  • Experience with MS Windows Workflow Foundation

  • Experience using UML modeling and diagramming tools like Enterprise Architect and MS Visio

  • Experience in responsive User Interface Development for web desktop and mobile devices (knowledge of any front-end framework (Angular/React) is a plus)

  • Experience with Bootstrap and/or related CSS Frameworks

  • Experience in exposing functionality as APIs

  • Experience with large-scale storage and database systems (SQL/Oracle)

  • Experience with MongoDB will be a plus

  • Experience with XML and EDI data formats is a plus

  • Experience with database performance troubleshooting for Oracle and/or SQL Server is desired

  • Exposure to performance and scalability improvement is desired

  • Familiarity with the latest software engineering practices and Agile methodologies

  • Good written and oral communication/presentation skills

  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is a plus)  

  • Knowledge of a variety of tools, technologies, and techniques for design and development, including IDEs, source control, build tools, and testing frameworks
